I fell in love with the theater at the age of seven, when Peter Pan flew above my head. Sitting with my grandmother on the stair of the first gallery, I embraced the actors in their magnificent costumes, the clever scenery sweeping between Never-land and London, and the fascinated audience. It was magic. Since then I always sought to be part of the wonderful world of the theater. At school, I attended drama workshops, designed the scenery of ceremonies and end-of-the-year shows.

During my service in the IDF as teenagers' guide at the Or-Akivah community-center, I initiated, designed and produced a three-part project on community heritage. Following interviews, door to door artifact collection and archive research, it included an exhibition, accompanied by a film and booklet about the first years of this small town: authentic narratives of new-emigrant families, documents and photographs. It was the first event of its kind and the first historiography of Or-Akivah. The festive opening of the exhibition was a story-telling event by the older people. The elementary school children participated in a competition of three-dimensional representation of the town. High-school students exhibited their visions of the future of Or-Akivah. Exhibition catalogues in Hebrew and English were issued.

In 2001, after three years of study at Tel Aviv University (T.A.U.) I received my B.F.A cum laude in theatre design. Soon afterwards, I started to work as stage and costume designer, and props maker in various genres of the performing arts, including theatre, dance, performance and opera. At the same time, I continued my studies at T.A.U., and in 2008 I obtained my M.F.A. cum laude in theater design.

I received three AICF (America Israel Cultural Foundation) grants and participated in local and international exhibitions.

Among my design works are: set and costume design for The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart (The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music); set and costume design for Manimation, a dance by Nadine Boomer; set and costume design for the original play Pajama Party by Gil Tzernowitz (Orna Porat Theater) which was nominated for best theater performance for youth and children 2008; costumes for the international show Aluminium; costumes for It Runs in the Family by Ray Cooney (Ha'zafon theater production); set and costumes for Electra  After Hugo von Hofmannsthal (Theater Department  TAU) ; space and costume design for the performance Night Creatures- A Composition for three women during a long night; costumes for Ha'Medame ( The Imaginator ) by Hanoch Levin (Theater Department  TAU); costumes for the original play Party Games by Nitzan Cohen (Tmu-na theater, Tel-Aviv); and other productions in different acting academies and festivals.

As of 2007, I have supervised high-school students for their final examination in theater at the Blich and Ami-Assaf high schools.

As of February 2008, I have also been teaching an original introductory course for performance artists at "Manoa-Hipus" Academy, Jaffa.

In the years to come I intend to continue my professional development. I hope to have the opportunity to be involved in productions of leading theaters and opera houses; to create and promote cooperation with other designers and professionals in all spheres of the performing arts, and to pursue inspiring, stimulating, interesting and theatrical experiences on stage and in other frameworks.
